Use of excess funds raised for defibrillators

Categories: Events,Our news,Uncategorized

The parish council’s fundraising for a defibrillator for the village raised enough to buy two defibrillators and leave a balance of £300, thanks to residents’ generosity.  The parish council has been considering how best to use the excess, which it has been holding for some time, and would like to apply the monies to help fund new signs at the entrance to the village. However, the council would welcome your views in making the decision to divert the funds for this alternative purpose. If you have any comments, objections or other suggestion, please either contact the clerk before our next meeting on 10 January 2018 or attend that meeting at which the proposal will be discussed and decided.
